Can I sell my guitar, no matter what kind?
If you are selling your guitar or gear, we're interested. Give us a call or fill out the form and let's talk. While we specialize in selling vintage guitars, it doesn't matter if you're wanting to sell a guitar that's newer and you're just not loving or a vintage treasure that your old pops had in his closet for decades, we love all kinds of gear.
What if I have a large collection of guitars to sell?
Well then, we love you. Because we love acquiring large guitar collections. We'll travel near and far in California to appraise your guitars, pay you top dollar, and load them into our van. And if you're a bit out of our travel range, then we'll gladly figure out a shipping arrangement so you can get your guitars to us so we can appraise your gear and send you payment. So if you've suddenly inherited old great-granddad's guitar collection and want to turn that into cash- we want to talk!
What if I want to sell my guitar but it needs repairs?
No problem! We have a luthier on site who will make all the repairs so you don't have to.
How do you determine the purchase price of a guitar?
We put our decades of experience selling vintage guitars to use by looking at comparable sales while keeping in mind the condition of the guitar, the originality, and the rarity of your gear. The better the condition, the more original the guitar's hardware, and the rarer the guitar, the higher the price.
I see guitars selling on Reverb for higher than you quoted. What's that about?
Sites like Reverb and eBay are full of guitars for sale at outrageous prices. But that doesn't mean those guitars are selling. We know the market and we know what's selling and what's just ridiculous.
