The 2008 Gibson LP-295 Goldtop blends the solid-body power of a Les Paul with the vintage styling cues of the hollow-body ES-295. It features a mahogany body with maple top, a Florentine cutaway (much deeper than a typical Les Paul), and a bound mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and split-parallelogram inlays. Two ’57 Classic humbuckers provide warm, PAF-inspired tones, while a Bigsby B7 tremolo and hand-painted floral pickguard pay tribute to the ES-295 aesthetic. With limited production (1,000 units total) and a distinctive Goldtop finish, the LP-295 offers a rare hybrid of style, tone, and collectible appeal.
