Up for sale is a 2005 Gibson J-100 XTRA, built in Bozeman, Montana, and fitted with an L.R. Baggs pickup for stage-ready performance. This guitar is in good player’s condition, showing visible playwear throughout—lots of small dings on the top (hard to see unless under direct light), two more noticeable ones on the binding, and some scratches on the back (see photos). Despite the cosmetic wear, it’s fully solid structurally, set up, and playing great.

Frets are in very good condition with plenty of life left. Tonally, the jumbo body paired with bubinga gives this J-100 a deep, powerful low end with clear trebles and balanced mids—classic Gibson jumbo character with extra focus and shimmer.

A fantastic USA-made workhorse jumbo that’s ready for stage, studio, or home.
